HARGEISA (Somaliguardian) – Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi on Saturday announced the lineup of his new cabinet, comprising 48 distinguished figures spanning ministers, deputy ministers, and state ministers.
The appointment follows Abdillahi’s assumption of office on Thursday, during a formal handover ceremony in which the outgoing President, Muse Bihi Abdi, officially transferred power after his defeat in the November 13 presidential election.
The newly appointed cabinet is predominantly composed of members from the Waddani party, which emerged victorious in the recent presidential election in the self-declared republic of Somaliland.
